Gestalt dreamwork is based on the principle that every part of a dream is a projected aspect of the dreamer. Rather than analyzing the dream, you become the dream and all of its different parts. By using Gestalt dialogue between dream characters you are, in effect, having dialogue between parts of yourself regarding significant issues. "Becoming" different parts of the dream and acting out each character, allows you to gain valuable insight to yourself and your own existential experience. By combining hypnosis with the dreamwork, the dreamer can go much deeper and tap into the inherent wisdom of their own subconscious mind. Hypnotic and post-hypnotic positive suggestions are used for further integration of the process.
